The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guardia gets a takedown into half guard.
Guardia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saejima keeps working.
Guardia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Saejima doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Guardia.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guardia is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Saejima is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Guardia trying to mount his opponent but Saejima defends it.
Guardia is looking to take a break and control but Saejima is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Guardia in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Saejima tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Guardia!
