Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tinju Dewa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinju Dewa has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dexter Berg's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dexter Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tinju Dewa!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dewa thuds a left hand into Berg's body.

Dewa forces Berg back against the cage and clinches.
Berg drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dewa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A right hook to the body lands for Dewa.

Berg gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Dewa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dewa.

Dewa scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Tinju Dewa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dewa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Berg shoots for a takedown but Dewa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Berg looks for a takedown but Dewa sprawls well.

Dewa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Berg was covering up waiting for the punch and Dewa finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dewa closes the distance and clinches up with Berg, looking for a takedown. Dewa pushes Berg against the cage but Berg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Berg tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dewa manages to circle out of the way.
A combination from Dewa does no damage.
Berg doesn't manage to clinch there - Dewa circles away.
Dewa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Berg sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dewa somewhat.

Dewa closes the distance and clinches up with Berg, looking for a takedown. Dewa pushes Berg against the cage but Berg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Berg swats away the attempt to clinch by Dewa.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dewa is defended easily by Berg.
Berg tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dewa swivels and escapes.
Berg avoids the head kick by Dewa.
Berg shoots in looking for a takedown but Dewa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Berg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Berg drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dewa pulls his leg out and moves away.
Berg tries for a takedown but Dewa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dewa moves into range and clinches up with Berg.
A frustrated look appears on Dewa's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Dewa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dewa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Dewa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Berg defends it easily.

Tinju Dewa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Berg really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dewa or perhaps it was just good defense by Berg, which made it look bad.

Dewa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Berg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dewa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Berg has managed to get both his arms back between Dewa's legs - danger averted.
Dewa is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Dewa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

I would just about give that final round to Tinju Dewa.
Well Dewa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
