Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson has chosen The Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson misses with a hook.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Watson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by James.
Sean Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been informed that Watson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Watson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks James with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A big shot lands for Watson! That's hurt James! Will he recover? Watson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

In his post fight interview, Sean Watson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
