Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bennett Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manki Keen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bennett Russell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Manki Keen! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Keen throws a head kick but Russell moves out of range.
Russell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Keen, pushing him back against the cage. Russell tightens his grip and picks Keen up, before dumping him to the ground. Keen manages to land in guard. Keen wants to sweep but no luck. Keen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Russell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Russell wants to stand but Keen has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Russell is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russell won't allow Keen to sweep him here. Russell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Manki Keen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Russell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Keen is looking to control Russell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keen avoid being mounted? Keen is looking to improve his position.
Keen is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Russell's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Russell's back! Keen has managed to slip his arm under Russell's chin. This could be all over... yep, Russell is tapping out! Submission win for Keen.
