Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lloyd Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doug Fresh will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lloyd Irvin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Fresh! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irvin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fresh manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fresh is trying to keep Irvin in close.
Irvin won't allow Fresh to get back to his feet. Irvin wanted to stand there but Fresh had control of the position. Irvin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Fresh controls Irvin momentarily but Irvin frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fresh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Irvin pushes down on Fresh's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Irvin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Irvin stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fresh darts in trying to clinch and Irvin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Irvin is looking to stand up but Fresh won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irvin with a nice head shot there. Irvin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Irvin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fresh's guard. Irvin keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Irvin passes to side control. Fresh is trying to escape the position but Irvin is controlling the position. Fresh looks winded! Irvin tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Irvin stands up and we're back to a striking position. Fresh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fresh fails to land the takedown. Irvin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Irvin successfully pulls guard.
Fresh is posturing up here but Irvin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fresh tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fresh has to tap! Slick submission there by Irvin!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lloyd Irvin! Our winner, Lloyd Irvin, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
