Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Babak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Se Si Xuite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mohammed Babak!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Se Si Xuite!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xuite tries to clinch
and Xuite takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Se Si Xuite has been cut.
Babak clinches with his opponent.
Knees to the body from Xuite.
Babak breaks from the clinch.
Xuite looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Xuite throws a wild body kick that Babak sees coming a mile off.
Babak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Xuite sprawls well initially but Babak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Babak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Xuite does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Babak winds up and cracks Xuite with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Babak throws a strike but Xuite avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Babak throws a big elbow that misses.
Xuite escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Babak gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've been hearing that Babak has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Babak seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Babak makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Xuite is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Babak defends well.
Babak has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Babak controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

And Xuite responds with a good body kick, but Babak manages to step out the way in time.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Babak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Xuite throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

and Babak counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Xuite scores with a head kick. Babak tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Babak moves out of range as Xuite throws a body kick.
Babak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Xuite was covering up waiting for the punch and Babak finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mohammed Babak will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Se Si Xuite's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A head kick from Xuite lands but Babak takes it in his stride.
Xuite ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Babak looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Babak takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Xuite misses with a kick to the body.
Babak changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Babak closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Babak lands in his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Babak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Xuite doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Babak.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Babak is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mohammed Babak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Babak seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Babak is stalling here. Xuite is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Babak seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Xuite has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Babak manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Xuite is looking to take a break and control but Babak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Babak has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Se Si Xuite showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Babak lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Se Si Xuite's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Se Si Xuite's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mohammed Babak!
Mohammed Babak is the new middleweight champion!
Mohammed Babak made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Im here to take over!'.
Se Si Xuite spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back... better then ever...'.
