Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michale Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoto Murasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murasaki has chosen PRIDE FC Theme as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Michale Massey has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michale Massey seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michale Massey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoto Murasaki! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murasaki moves into range and clinches up with Massey. Murasaki missing with knees to the body.
Murasaki is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Massey is defending well for now. Murasaki tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Massey has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Murasaki after a bit of a struggle. Massey is trying to pull guard but Murasaki turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murasaki is trying to break the clinch but Massey is controlling him. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Murasaki.

Massey is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Massey throws a strike but Murasaki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Massey keeping full guard, as Murasaki tries to pass.

Massey is looking to counter the offense by Murasaki and move into the clinch. Massey goes for a double leg but Murasaki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Murasaki continues to drive forward. Massey shoots for a takedown but Murasaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Massey walks into a straight right hand from Murasaki. Murasaki darts in and clinches Massey up against the cage. Murasaki is looking for a takedown. Murasaki can't break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Massey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Murasaki defends well. Murasaki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Massey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murasaki has managed to get both his arms back between Massey's legs - danger averted. Massey looking for a guillotine here but Murasaki defends easily.

Shoto Murasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murasaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Massey. Massey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Massey lands in his opponent's guard. Massey connects with a couple of short punches.

Massey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Massey trying to control the position from guard on top but Murasaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Murasaki is looking for a triangle but Massey pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Massey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Massey moves in looking to clinch but Murasaki pushes him off. Murasaki is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Massey with a body shot. Massey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Massey showed some decent athleticism there. Michale Massey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Massey is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Massey takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Michale Massey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shoto Murasaki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Massey stands up out of the half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Michale Massey showed his dominance in that final round. I think Murasaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
