The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanders throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tortiose scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vanders doesn't seem bothered though.
Tortiose wants to clinch up but Vanders keeps it at a distance.
Vanders takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Tortiose is looking to clinch but Vanders is avoiding it.
Tortiose throws a nice inside leg kick.
Donatello Tortiose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tortiose tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vanders paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A nice side step and Vanders releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tortiose misses with a body shot.
Vanders unleashes a big counter combination but Tortiose bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Tortiose throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tortiose is looking to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vanders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice side step and Vanders releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tortiose looks to clinch
and Vanders counters with a left and a right that stings Tortiose.
Tortiose throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tortiose tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tortiose is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Vanders.

It looks like Donatello Tortiose has been cut.
Tortiose tries to clinch there but Vanders circles away.
Tortiose moves in looking to clinch but Vanders pushes him off.
Vanders looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Vanders fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tortiose fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vanders unleashes a big counter combination but Tortiose bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Vanders is looking to chop away at Tortiose's legs.
That kick from Tortiose tenderised Vanders's leg. Vanders is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tortiose avoids the head kick by Vanders.
Vanders swats away the attempt to clinch by Tortiose.
Tortiose is looking to slow Vanders down with leg kicks.
Tortiose doesn't manage to clinch there - Vanders circles away.

Vanders chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tortiose can pounce on him.
Tortiose feints and then cracks Vanders's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vanders down.
Tortiose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vanders swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Despite the aggression on Vanders's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Vanders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vanders gets in close and tags Tortiose with a short punch that almost sends Tortiose to the mat! Oh Tortiose is in big trouble! He turns his back on Vanders, trying to create some distance but Vanders rushes him, striking wildly and Tortiose goes down! The referee tackles Vanders into the cage to end the fight! Vanders is one violent man!
