Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taite Abrams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Poisonblack - Home Is Where The Sty Is . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Cartman!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abrams avoids a kick to the body.

Abrams gets a clinch.
Cartman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abrams walks away with a smile on his face. Cartman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cartman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cartman is looking to stand up but Abrams won't let him.
Cartman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Abrams seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Abrams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cartman is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cartman wants to stand and escape but instead Abrams has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Abrams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Cartman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cartman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Abrams haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Abrams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cartman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Abrams is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cartman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Abrams wants to stand and escape but instead Cartman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Abrams has his foot on Cartman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cartman works his way back into a safe position though.
Cartman won't allow Abrams to sweep him here.

Abrams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cartman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Abrams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Abrams thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Abrams wants to stand and escape but Cartman is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Abrams has closed the distance and engaged Cartman in a clinch.
Cartman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Cartman drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Abrams comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Eric Cartman has been cut.

Cartman takes an elbow to the temple.
Abrams gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That has opened up Eric Cartman's cut even more.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Abrams lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Abrams comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The cut above Eric Cartman's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Eric Cartman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eric Cartman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Taite Abrams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
