Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacquaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khabib Nurmagemedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nurmagemedov has chosen Kanye West ft Jay-Z Nicki Minaj Rick Ross and Bon Iver - Monster as his entrance music. Khabib Nurmagemedov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquaio throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nurmagemedov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nurmagemedov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pacquaio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nurmagemedov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pacquaio somewhat.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Pacquaio looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Nurmagemedov! Submission of the night perhaps?
