Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Speedos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manvel Gamburyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gamburyan's choice of entrance music: Gamburyan vs. Brown on April 24th. Manvel Gamburyan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speedos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gamburyan works over Speedos's head and body with a nice combination.
Gamburyan shoots in for a takedown but Speedos shows good takedown defense.
Speedos throws a head kick that misses.
Gamburyan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Speedos looks to score with a jab to the body but Gamburyan is just out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Gamburyan.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gamburyan.
Gamburyan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Speedos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Speedos controls Gamburyan momentarily but Gamburyan frees himself.

Speedos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gamburyan is aware though and is defending well.
Speedos has a closed guard, preventing Gamburyan from standing up.
Speedos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gamburyan defends well.

Gamburyan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gamburyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Speedos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gamburyan content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Speedos has locked up a guillotine! Speedos's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gamburyan is holding on here and Speedos must be using up a lot of energy. Gamburyan has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Speedos gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

After winning the bout, Ken Speedos thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
