Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kabuto Wakizashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romano comes into the arena with Nicotina Groove by SUBSONICA blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samuel Romano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabuto Wakizashi! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wakizashi throws a looping overhand right but Romano ducks down to avoid it. Romano wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Wakizashi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slow jab from Wakizashi misses its intended target. Wakizashi lands with a hook. Romano tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Wakizashi misses with a looping left. Wakizashi throws a body shot but no joy. Wakizashi connects with a leg kick. Romano looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wakizashi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Romano.
Wakizashi is looking to score with low kicks. Wakizashi throws a low kick but Romano avoids it. Romano misses with a body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wakizashi misses with a hook. A left lands for Wakizashi. Romano shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Romano wants to land a leg kick but Wakizashi is out of range. Romano throws a head kick that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Romano throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romano misses with a body punch
and Wakizashi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Romano tries to land a front kick but Wakizashi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Romano scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wakizashi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wakizashi lands a jab to Romano's midsection. Romano takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wakizashi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Wakizashi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Romano is rocked! Romano switches off momentarily and Wakizashi cracks him with a monster right hand! Romano topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Wakizashi dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Wakizashi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kabuto Wakizashi! A relieved looking Kabuto Wakizashi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
