Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Goodwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lionel Mancuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mancuso is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Feel The Beat. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlton Goodwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lionel Mancuso! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mancuso stuffs the takedown attempt from Goodwin. Goodwin gets slowly back to his feet. Goodwin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Carlton Goodwin has been cut. Goodwin gets tackled into the cage by Mancuso. Mancuso maintains the clinch. Mancuso is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mancuso tries to throw a body punch but Goodwin avoids it by throwing Mancuso back against the cage. Mancuso slowing the pace effectively. Mancuso tries to break the clinch but Goodwin is controlling the position. Mancuso leaning against his opponent.
Mancuso looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mancuso is looking to break free of the clinch but Goodwin has double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goodwin prevents Mancuso from breaking the clinch. Mancuso is trying to break the clinch but Goodwin has him pressed against the cage. Goodwin fails to pull guard.
Goodwin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mancuso to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlton Goodwin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goodwin wants a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mancuso pulls guard successfully.
Goodwin distracts Mancuso with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Goodwin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Goodwin throws a big elbow that misses. Mancuso had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Goodwin defends it easily. Mancuso wants to sweep here but Goodwin controlling him for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goodwin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goodwin works over Mancuso with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goodwin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mancuso works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Goodwin with a nice head shot there. Goodwin is working Mancuso over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goodwin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Goodwin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Goodwin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Goodwin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mancuso swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Mancuso. No joy for Goodwin on that attempt. Mancuso lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goodwin circles away quickly and effectively. Mancuso moves into range and clinches up with Goodwin. Goodwin jumps guard but Mancuso turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Mancuso has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Goodwin tries to pull guard but Mancuso holds him up against the cage and eventually Goodwin drops back down to his feet.
Goodwin is trying to pull guard but Mancuso turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Goodwin fails to land. Goodwin tries to score a body lock takedown but Mancuso shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Goodwin manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Goodwin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Goodwin wants to get back to his feet but Mancuso is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mancuso throws a strike but Goodwin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mancuso is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Goodwin prevents Mancuso from getting back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mancuso wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lionel Mancuso dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carlton Goodwin's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Goodwin looks for a takedown but Mancuso sprawls well. Mancuso lands a two punch combo.
Goodwin is rocked! Lionel Mancuso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mancuso feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Goodwin crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lionel Mancuso! In his post fight interview, Lionel Mancuso started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
