Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sa Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domino Jachas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinto comes to the cage accompanied by Grande Sá. Jachas has chosen The Nycer - Freaky as his entrance music. Domino Jachas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Sa Pinto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Domino Jachas! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinto drops his hands momentarily and Jachas takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jachas misses with a head kick.
Pinto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jachas on his heels. He'll look to pass Jachas's guard now, I'm sure. Pinto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jachas wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pinto manages to pass to side control. Pinto is controlling the pace.
Jachas is trying to stand up here but Pinto is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinto is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pinto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jachas has managed to free his arm - good work. Pinto seems to be looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pinto keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pinto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jachas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pinto. Pinto is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jachas is staying active underneath Pinto, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pinto connects with a nice short shot to Jachas's temple. Pinto looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jachas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jachas looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pinto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jachas is just riding it out for now. Pinto eventually gives up the hold. Jachas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pinto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pinto perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jachas pushes Pinto off looking to stand but Pinto dives back in and keeps control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jachas throws a sloppy head kick and Pinto moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sa Pinto dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pinto closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jachas quickly recovers to half guard. Pinto is working for a kimura but Jachas is defending it quite comfortably.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinto is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jachas is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
