Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpiridis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Roberto.
Roberto walks into a straight right hand from Karpiridis.
Roberto avoids the body shot from Karpiridis.
Karpiridis just misses with a punch to the body.
Roberto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Roberto takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Karpiridis tries to clinch up.
Karpiridis sizes up Roberto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Karpiridis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Roberto is rocked!
Karpiridis lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Roberto head around and knocks him out cold! Karpiridis hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Karpiridis!
