Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Project Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perus Jamppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter comes to the cage accompanied by Mr. Crowley. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Project Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Perus Jamppa! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jamppa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fighter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fighter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jamppa defends well and Fighter ends up having to push Jamppa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jamppa gets caught flat footed, as Fighter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fighter throws a big elbow that misses. Fighter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jamppa dives on top into guard.
Fighter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jamppa engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fighter throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jamppa uses it to pass to side control.
Fighter is trying to control Jamppa's posture but Jamppa avoids it. Fighter is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jamppa is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jamppa is looking to take a break and control but Fighter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fighter tries to improve position but can't. Fighter looks to move to half guard but instead Jamppa has passed into mount! Damn! Jamppa stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Jamppa sizes up Fighter with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jamppa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fighter throws a shot from downtown. Jamppa moves away and avoids it. Jamppa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fighter is looking to counter punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jamppa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fighter is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jamppa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jamppa has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jamppa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fighter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jamppa has managed to get both his arms back between Fighter's legs - danger averted. Fighter looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jamppa has picked Fighter up and slammed him! Fighter can't keep hold of the triangle and Jamppa manages to pass to side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fighter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jamppa is trying to get an arm triangle but Fighter is defending well. Jamppa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fighter rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jamppa's guard! Nice work there by Fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter wants to control from the top but Jamppa keeps moving. Fighter pushing down on Jamppa's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Fighter is trying to work for a kimura but Jamppa is defending well.
Fighter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jamppa defends it well. Fighter is working for a kimura but Jamppa is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jamppa won't allow Fighter to pass to mount. Fighter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jamppa defends it well. Fighter is working for a kimura but Jamppa is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fighter is looking for a kimura but Jamppa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fighter to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Project Fighter will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jamppa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jamppa misses with a wild combination.
Fighter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fighter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jamppa. Jamppa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter pushes down on Jamppa's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jamppa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fighter pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jamppa is refusing to be controlled, as Fighter sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Jamppa still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Jamppa has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Fighter is looking for a sweep. Fighter sneaks back into half guard. Fighter actively working from the bottom here. Fighter actively working from the bottom here. It looks like Jamppa is going to stand back up.
Jamppa wants to work for an arm triangle but Fighter is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter moves into full guard.
Fighter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jamppa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jamppa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fighter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jamppa defends it easily. Fighter is working an open guard so Jamppa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jamppa throws a body punch but Fighter moves out of range. Fighter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jamppa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter somewhat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Jamppa both land. Nice combination. Jamppa throws a right hand that Fighter ducks under and follows up with a left that Fighter also avoids with ease. Jamppa throws a right and a left that both miss. Fighter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jamppa. Jamppa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Project Fighter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fighter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jamppa. Fighter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fighter closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jamppa quickly recovers to half guard. Jamppa looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fighter seems to be working for a kimura but Jamppa defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jamppa wants to get back to full guard. Fighter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fighter wants to free his trapped foot but Jamppa is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Perus Jamppa will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Fighter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Fighter misses with a hook. Jamppa ducked under it nicely. Fighter shoots in and drives through. Jamppa sprawls well. Jamppa looks for the body kick but Fighter saw that one coming. Fighter fails with a takedown attempt. Jamppa throws a head kick but Fighter moves out of range.

Perus Jamppa seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jamppa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Jamppa tries a head kick but it misses.
Fighter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jamppa counters with a head kick that drops Fighter to the mat! Fighter scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fighter is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Project Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jamppa throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Fighter crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Perus Jamppa!
