Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Kootz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sterling Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rage Kootz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Archer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Archer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kootz.
Kootz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Archer as he jumps to the side.
Kootz scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Archer throws a leg kick that misses.
Archer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Archer wants it to stay on the feet.
Sterling Archer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rage Kootz.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kootz.
Archer throws a looping overhand right but Kootz ducks down to avoid it.
Kootz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Archer as he avoids it easily.
Kootz shoots in looking for a takedown. Archer tries to sprawl out of it but Kootz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Archer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kootz dives in and grabs Archer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Archer pushes down on Kootz's head and hops out.

It looks like Rage Kootz has been cut.

Kootz shoots in for a double leg but Archer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Archer takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Archer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kootz on his heels. He'll look to pass Kootz's guard now, I'm sure.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kootz holds on and takes a little breather.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kootz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Archer manages to get himself to full guard.

Archer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kootz.

Kootz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kootz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Archer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kootz has managed to get both his arms back between Archer's legs - danger averted.

Kootz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kootz throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Archer works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Rage Kootz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kootz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
