Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mitchelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernhard Adelhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adelhard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Godsmack - I Stand Alone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adelhard throws the left hand but Mitchelson avoids the punch easily.
Adelhard thumps Mitchelson with a low kick.
Adelhard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mitchelson.
Mitchelson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Adelhard jabs at Mitchelson's body.
Mitchelson looks to land a combination but Adelhard avoids it well.
Mitchelson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Adelhard.
Adelhard dodges the punch combination from Mitchelson.
Adelhard was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Adelhard connects with a right hand. Mitchelson shakes it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Good leg kick by Adelhard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mitchelson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adelhard paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Adelhard counters with an inside leg kick.

Adelhard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Adelhard fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Adelhard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mitchelson manages to avoid it.
Adelhard lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mitchelson's sensitive parts.
Mitchelson connects with a body shot that sends Adelhard's belly button to the back.
Mitchelson throws a body punch but Adelhard moves out of range.

and Adelhard counters by moving into the clinch.
Mitchelson is trying to break the clinch but Adelhard is controlling him.
A right hook to the body lands for Adelhard.

A left hand lands to the body for Adelhard.
Adelhard scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Adelhard lands a shoulder strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitchelson can't find room to land a body shot as Adelhard controls the action.
Adelhard pushes Mitchelson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Adelhard tries to work over Mitchelson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Adelhard has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Adelhard lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mitchelson backwards.

Adelhard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mitchelson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mitchelson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Adelhard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mitchelson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Adelhard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mitchelson is aware though and is defending well.
Adelhard pulls Mitchelson in close to prevent any damage.

Mitchelson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Adelhard to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mitchelson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Adelhard pulls down on the head and he's put Mitchelson to sleep! This one is all over!
