Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Call Me!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villegas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Me. Me circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Villegas has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sydney Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Me connects with a nice short shot to Villegas's temple.

Villegas is pushing Me's head away, looking to escape. Me manages to hold on to the position though.
Me connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Villegas some visible discomfort.

Villegas pushes Me away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Me gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Villegas is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Villegas is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Me off and has taken his back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Villegas is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Call Me dominated that round.
