Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tekken Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't Hold Us kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tekken Slice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Stevens! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens throws a shot from downtown. Slice moves away and avoids it. A head kick misses from Stevens. We've been hearing reports that Slice has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Slice blocks a jab. Nice defenses there by Stevens. Slice ducks under a wild hook from Stevens. Slice closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Slice perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Stevens is refusing to be controlled, as Slice sits in half guard. Slice tries to stand and escape but Stevens actually recovers to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice trying to control the position from guard on top but Stevens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stevens can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slice controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Stevens is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Stevens is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slice fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stevens avoids it really well and circles away. Stevens scores with a sloppy right hand. Slice should have avoided that one. Stevens lands with a slapping head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stevens as he avoids it easily. Stevens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away. Slice takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stevens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Slice looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Slice fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tekken Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stevens has managed to clinch.
Slice managing to block the knees to the body from Stevens.
Slice trying to control the position but instead, Stevens has worked for underhooks and has pushed Slice into the cage. Slice has Stevens pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stevens manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stevens tries to pull guard but Slice holds him up against the cage and eventually Stevens drops back down to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Slice to keep the fight standing. Stevens breaks the clinch.
Slice shoots in looking for a takedown but Stevens manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Slice's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stevens connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Stevens misses with a head kick.
Slice avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slice is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stevens's half guard. Slice seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Slice performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Stevens wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Slice tries to pass to full mount but Stevens defends it. Stevens is trying to stand up here but Slice is controlling him well. Slice takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice defenses there by Stevens. Slice shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Slice tries to free his leg and advance position but Stevens is retaining full guard. Stevens is working an open guard so Slice takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Stevens dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Slice walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Slice shoots in but Stevens avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stevens sizes up Slice with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Stevens throws a looping overhand right but Slice ducks down to avoid it. Stevens darts in and clinches Slice up against the cage. Stevens breaks the clinch.
Slice shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stevens but Stevens pushes him off and we're back to square one. Slice drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Slice won't allow Stevens to get back to his feet. Stevens keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully. Stevens is pulling down on Slice's head. It's preventing any offense from Slice, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice passes into half guard. Slice stalling away here and it's allowed Stevens to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Slice trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Slice drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stevens manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Slice has Stevens in his guard.
Slice has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stevens can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice keeping moving, preventing Stevens from controlling successfully. Slice trying to keep a closed guard but Stevens is proving a slippery customer.
Stevens wanted to stand there but Slice had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stevens gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Slice is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stevens controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stevens trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stevens wants to stand but Slice has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Slice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stevens moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stevens looks like he wants to counter punch here. Victor Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slice swinging wildly here.
Slice takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Slice shoots in for a takedown but Stevens shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tekken Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slice fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stevens misses with a head kick.
Stevens connects with a looping right hand.
Stevens looks to land a left hand but Slice moved out of range nicely. Slice moves out of range as Stevens throws a body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Stevens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A head kick by Stevens misses and Slice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Slice is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stevens is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
