PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Clack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Fleming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fleming has chosen T.N.T. as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Fleming!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleming swings for the body but Clack moves out of range.
We've been told by Clack's head coaches at The Lion's Den that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Clack is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fleming working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Clack throws a solid leg kick but Fleming takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Clack.
A nice inside leg kick there by Clack. That's going to slow Fleming down.
Fleming misses the shot to the body.
Fleming lands a jab to Clack's midsection.
Fleming lunges at Clack with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Clack's hand.

A looping hook to the body misses from Fleming. Clack does a little dance to reset his feet.
Scott Fleming seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Fleming.
Clack is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fleming wants to take a breather but Clack is having none of it.
Clack is positioning himself well to prevent Fleming advancing to mount.

Fleming is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fleming.
Fleming not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Fleming looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Clack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Clack is looking for a sweep. Fleming is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Clack is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fleming's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fleming's back!
Clack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Clack lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Clack connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Fleming to escape the position.
Fleming just trying to survive but Clack is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Clack is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Clack gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Clack gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Clack apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Fleming throws a sloppy head kick and Clack moves out of range easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fleming is looking to cinch up a triangle. Clack throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fleming's body to avoid the submission. Fleming has instead reached around Clack's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fleming arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
