Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kay Ector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Zombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ector might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Monster!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kay Ector! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vinny Zombo! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ector tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zombo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zombo fails in his attempt to clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Ector misses the target. Ector dodges the punch combination from Zombo.
Ector has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Gym of the Gods in the buildup to the fight. Zombo works Ector's body with a nice hook. A head kick misses from Ector. Zombo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Zombo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ector cracks Zombo with a good jab.
It looks like Vinny Zombo has been cut. Ector throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zombo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Zombo closes the distance and clinches. Ector's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zombo checks a leg kick. Ector punishes Zombo's body with a nice straight punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zombo rushes Ector and presses him up against the cage. Zombo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Ector breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ector scores with a nice head shot. Zombo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ector. Ector gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zombo. Ector on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zombo. Zombo obviously looking to wear him down.
Zombo clinches up with Ector and pushes him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Ector's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ector is trying to break the clinch but Zombo has him pressed against the cage. Ector looking to slow down the pace here. We've been informed that Zombo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Zombo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ector misses with a body shot.
Ector tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ector lands a left and a right that send Zombo crashing to the mat, dazed. Ector thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Zombo is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zombo bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Ector comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Zombo falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Zombo was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kay Ector! Jumping up and down and very excited, Kay Ector waved his t-shirt featuring GREEN!160's logo in front of the cameras. In defeat, Vinny Zombo stepped up to the mic, saying 'My head hurts.'.
