Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pejro Karesky! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Harris! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karesky moves away from the strike by Harris. Harris checks the leg kick. Karesky wants to clinch up but Harris keeps it at a distance. Harris feints the counter takedown. Harris takes a swing at Karesky's ribcage but misses. Karesky throwing a counter right hand but Harris manages to avoid it. Karesky uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harris. Harris connects with a leg kick. Karesky looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Karesky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harris moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Karesky blocks a low kick nicely. Karesky throws a big counter combination but Harris scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Karesky misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris circles away from the clinch attempt.

Karesky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harris, pushing him back against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karesky cracks Harris with a nice body shot. Harris has Karesky pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Karesky manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Harris gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris wants to pass the guard but Karesky is defending well. Harris throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Harris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Karesky is positioning himself well to prevent Harris advancing to mount. Karesky is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Harris throwing shots but Karesky is blocking nicely. Karesky tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control. Harris is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Karesky sees it coming and defends easily. Karesky trying to hold on to Harris's head to control him but Harris postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Harris seems to be working for a kimura but Karesky defends the submission attempt. Harris looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Karesky tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Karesky wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karesky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harris is working away from the top position though. The fighters are battling for position here. Karesky manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Harris is in close to Karesky's body, working some short punches and elbows. Harris stopping the sweep attempt from Karesky. Karesky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Harris wants to pass the guard but Karesky is keeping the position. Karesky has Harris pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Harris keeps the fight on the outside. A head kick misses from Harris.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karesky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karesky wants it to stay on the feet. Harris has a takedown stuffed. Pejro Karesky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Harris. Harris smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Harris throws a poor cross that misses
and Karesky counters with a one-two to the body. Pejro Karesky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Karesky tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it. Harris shoots in for a takedown but Karesky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Karesky is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Karesky tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harris keeps the fight on the outside. Oooooh!!! Karesky has knocked Harris down with a huge combo! Karesky steps away and waves a wobbly Harris back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Phil Harris has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Karesky is looking to clinch. Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Karesky finish him? Harris with a jab. Karesky has closed the distance and engaged Harris in a clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Pejro Karesky will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Phil Harris's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Harris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Harris seems to have recovered his senses. Harris is looking for a kimura but Karesky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Harris to get the leverage. Karesky wants to control but Harris is keeping busy and won't allow it. Harris seems to be working for a kimura but Karesky defends the submission attempt. Karesky is defending against the submission attempts here by Harris.

Karesky keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Harris is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Karesky has managed to free his arm - good work. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harris working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Karesky wants to control but Harris is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Harris is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Karesky doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harris.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Harris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Karesky defends it well. Karesky moves into full guard.
Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Karesky is trying to control the position but Harris postures up.

Karesky tries to close the distance and clinch but Harris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Karesky forces Harris back against the ropes and clinches. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Karesky takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Karesky pushes Harris against the ropes. Karesky is working some dirty boxing. Karesky pushes off with a quick right hook! Harris goes down! Harris tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Karesky moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
