Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franky Syn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Syn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Truth by Alexander. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson keeps the fight on the outside.
Syn lands a really nice looking cross but Thompson seems unphased.
Thompson works Syn's body with a nice hook.
Syn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Thompson.
Thompson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Syn seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Thompson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Syn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Syn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Thompson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Thompson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Thompson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Syn rather than just go for the knockout.

Thompson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thompson. Syn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Thompson cracks Syn with a right hand to the side of the head.
Syn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thompson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Thompson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Thompson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Syn jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Syn lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
