Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caesar Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Martin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lost Again. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Caesar Baker! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker throws a nice looking combination but Martin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Martin shoots in but no luck this time. Martin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baker's waist but Baker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martin off to one side. Baker misses with an uppercut
and Martin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Caesar Baker has been cut. Martin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baker defends well and Martin ends up having to push Baker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martin avoids the body shot from Baker.
Martin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A big right from Baker misses. Baker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Martin. Baker tries to sprawl but Martin drives through with a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Martin wants to free his trapped foot but Baker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Martin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baker sees it coming and defends easily. Martin is trying to work for a kimura but Baker is defending well.
Martin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baker is just riding it out for now. Martin eventually gives up the hold. Baker holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Martin is working for a submission of some sort.
Baker wants to get back to his feet.
Martin is looking to pass Baker's guard but actually Baker recovers to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Baker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Martin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Martin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Martin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baker is keeping the position for now. Martin stops Baker from standing up. Martin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Martin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baker! Martin tries to bench press Baker off him but Baker keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker tries to stand but Martin is controlling his head. Martin is trying to improve his position. Martin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Baker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Martin is looking to improve his position.
Martin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Baker wants to stand up but Martin has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Martin looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Martin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baker pulls his head out easily. Martin actively working from the bottom here. Baker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Tony Martin has been cut. Baker rushes Martin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Baker blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Baker lands a knee to the body.
Baker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martin.
Baker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caesar Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baker circles away. Baker takes a swing at Martin's ribcage but misses. Martin throws a big counter combination but Baker scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Baker thuds his right hand into Martin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Baker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baker misses with a straight left. Baker throws a big shot that misses. Baker throws out a loose jab but Martin uses good head movement to avoid it. Martin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Martin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baker throws a shot from downtown. Martin moves away and avoids it. Martin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baker defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baker tries to stand but Martin is controlling his head. Baker is looking to take a break and control but Martin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Martin is looking to regain half guard here but Baker keeps moving and retains side control. Martin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Baker off and has taken his back! Martin throwing sloppy strikes. Martin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Baker! Can he survive? No! He's out! Martin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
