Ryan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wassup - by ASAP Rocky. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santos Ryan! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ryan, right into the meat.
Ryan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ryan takes the fight into the clinch. A knee to the head by Ryan.
It looks like Victor Resnov has been cut. Ryan lands an elbow that stopped Resnov in his tracks for a moment. Ryan lands an elbow inside. A nice glancing elbow lands by Ryan. Ryan scores with a knee to the head.
Ryan lands an elbow just above Resnov 's eye.
Victor Resnov's cut is getting worse. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Resnov is trying to drag Ryan to the mat but Ryan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ryan working Resnov over with knees to the body. Ryan pressing his opponent against the cage. Resnov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ryan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ryan lands a nice elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan lands an elbow that stopped Resnov in his tracks for a moment. Ryan landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Resnov misses with a short punch on the inside. Ryan utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Ryan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Resnov tries to break the clinch but Ryan is controlling the position. Ryan lands an elbow inside. Resnov takes an elbow to the temple.
Victor Resnov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Ryan lands a damaging elbow. Resnov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ryan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ryan leaning his opponent against the cage. Ryan landing knees to the body.
Resnov is breathing heavily. Ryan just leaning against Resnov, taking a breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A lazy left from Ryan finds it's target.
Jeez, Victor Resnov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head kick misses from Resnov. Resnov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Resnov tries to clinch but Ryan moves out of range. Ryan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Resnov. Ryan unleashes a big counter combination but Resnov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Resnov fails in his attempt to clinch. Ryan clinches with his opponent.
Come on Ryan - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Resnov takes an elbow to the forehead.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Victor Resnov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Santos Ryan! Our winner, Santos Ryan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
