Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Watson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A big left from Hurt misses.
Watson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hurt throws a looping overhand right but Watson ducks down to avoid it.
Hurt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hurt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Watson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Watson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hurt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Watson defends well and Hurt ends up having to push Watson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Watson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Watson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Watson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hurt has locked up a guillotine! Hurt's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Watson is holding on here and Hurt must be using up a lot of energy. Watson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hurt gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
