Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Mir!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ordonez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ordonez swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Mir connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ordonez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mir tries to avoid it but Ordonez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mir to the ground. Mir escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mir feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ordonez's calf.
Ordonez thuds a left hand into Mir's body.
Nice body punch from Mir.
Mir lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ordonez at a distance.
Mir throws a shot to the body.
Ordonez looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Mir fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ordonez misses with a takedown attempt
and Mir counters with a left to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mir closes the distance and clinches.
Mir lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mir lands a hook that snaps the head of Ordonez backwards.
Mir lands a nice shot to the body.

Ordonez misses with some punches.
A right handed body shot lands from Mir.
Ordonez is breathing heavily.

Ordonez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mir walks away with a smile on his face. Ordonez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Ordonez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mir drops Ordonez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ordonez looks back up at him and smiles so Mir waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ordonez is rocked!
Ordonez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mir. Mir obviously looking to wear him down.
Oh Ordonez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mir lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mir connects with a leg kick. Ordonez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mir lands with a good body shot.
Ordonez seems to have got his legs back now.
Mir paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nice body punch from Mir - that landed with a thud.
Mir lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short body shot lands from Mir as the two fighters clinch.

Mir lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Mir lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Mir unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Ordonez! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Mir is unloading with more strikes now! Ordonez drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Mir!
