The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but West moves away.
West scores with a body shot.
West stuffs the takedown attempt from Conway. Conway gets slowly back to his feet.
West scores with a leg kick.
West lands a big right hand that sends Conway crashing to the mat! West stays standing though and waves Conway back to his feet!
It looks like Armando Conway has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
West is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Conway doesn't succeed with the takedown
and West makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Conway is breathing heavily.
West darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Conway's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles West before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
