Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Woods momentarily.
Woods pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Messer throws out a counter right but Woods avoids it with no problem.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fighters circle momentarily. Messer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Woods ducks right into an uppercut from Messer.
A lazy left from Messer finds it's target.
Messer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Woods closes the distance and pushes Messer back into the cage.
Messer tries to break free but Woods pushes him back against the cage.
Messer throws a punch but it's blocked by Woods.
Messer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Woods has him pressed against the cage.

Woods takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Woods with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Messer to score with a decent uppercut.

Woods walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Woods takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Woods takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Woods takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Woods looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
