Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mondego wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mondego. Gibson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gibson tries to clinch up but Mondego circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gibson.
Gibson misses with a straight left.
Mondego attempts a counter takedown but Gibson avoids it well and moves away.
Gibson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Mondego moves into the clinch.
Mondego is trying to trip Gibson. He has hold of a leg but Gibson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mondego persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mondego seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gibson for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mondego loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Gibson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mondego land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mondego stands and salutes the crowd.
