Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with what's new pussycat blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tom Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shawn Spencer! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch there but Spencer circles away.
Spencer misses with the combination.
Jones tries for a takedown but Spencer circles away easily and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spencer looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range. Shawn Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jones wants to clinch. Spencer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spencer keeps the fight on the outside. Spencer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jones staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Spencer. Spencer looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range. Jones seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Spencer. Spencer misses with a looping left. Spencer throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones. Spencer throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Spencer fights it but they end up in guard. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jones is in close to Spencer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jones content to stall in guard here. Spencer wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Jones postures up in Spencer's guard and throws a big left but Spencer blocks it. Jones content to stall in guard here. Spencer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Spencer wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spencer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Spencer is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jones rolls with it to try and escape but Spencer cranks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
