Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dhal Sim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Sykes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dhal Sim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Sykes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Sim.
Sim is looking to land body kicks.
Sykes throws the left hand but Sim avoids the punch easily.
Sim blocks a head kick by Sykes.
Nice jab there from Sim.
Mark Sykes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Sim. That snapped Sykes's head back.
Sim looks to score with a jab to the body but Sykes is just out of range.
Sim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Sim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
