The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cruz as Robbins shoots in.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robbins.
Cruz looks for a takedown but Robbins sprawls well.
Cruz shoots for a takedown but Robbins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Robbins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Robbins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cruz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Robbins is aware though and is defending well.

Robbins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Cruz counters with a shoot takedown. Robbins fights it but they end up in guard.

Robbins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cruz is one step ahead there.
Cruz is fighting to break Robbins's control of his arms but Robbins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Robbins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
