Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Byers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butt Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Byers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butt Hurt!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt misses with a looping left.
Raymond Byers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hurt shoots for a double leg takedown but Byers sprawls well. He's pushed Hurt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Byers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Byers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hurt manages to avoid it.
Hurt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Byers swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Hurt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hurt avoids the body shot from Byers.
Hurt with the counter takedown but Byers avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hurt throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Byers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hurt manages to avoid it.
Hurt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A clash of legs there as Byers blocks the low kick.
Hurt misses with a left hand
and Byers holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hurt is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Byers is keeping busy.
Hurt is trying to drag Byers to the mat but Byers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Byers tries to circle away but Hurt has him pinned against the cage.
Hurt blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Hurt gets underhooks to prevent Byers's takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Byers throws a punch but it's blocked by Hurt.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Byers gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hurt wants to sweep but no luck.
Byers trying to control the position from guard on top but Hurt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Byers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hurt to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Byers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hurt pulls down on the head and he's put Byers to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Butt Hurt!
