Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djoser Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Malone's choice of entrance music: Jimmy Hendrix - Vodoo Child. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Gunner Malone enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunner Malone!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone misses with a hook. Rei ducked under it nicely.
Rei appears to be looking for a big counter.
Rei misses with a low kick as Malone jumps back.
Malone tries a quick counter leg kick but Rei is wise to it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Malone darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rei thows a leg kick but Malone checks it
and Malone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rei tries a head kick but it misses.
Malone misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rei digs a good hook to Malone's body.
Malone clobbers Rei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A telegraphed right hand from Malone misses the target.
Malone throws a wild body kick that Rei sees coming a mile off.
Malone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rei has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cell Block Six in the buildup to the fight.
Rei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Malone blocks a head kick by Rei.
Rei lands a leg kick that knocks Malone off balance momentarily.

and Malone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Djoser Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malone on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Malone.
Malone throws a jab but it's blocked by Rei.
Rei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Malone.
Rei misses with a wild combination.
Malone throws a chopping leg kick but Rei manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Malone misses the jab.
Rei swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rei.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Malone lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rei throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Malone counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice defenses there by Malone.
Rei misses the shot to the body.
Malone tries to land a body kick
and Rei makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rei takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Malone drops Rei with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rei looks back up at him and smiles so Malone waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rei is rocked!
It looks like Djoser Rei has been cut.
Rei throws a lazy head kick
and Malone counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Oh Rei is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rei is breathing heavily.
Rei leaves his chin hanging out and Malone seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Rei crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gunner Malone!
During a confident post fight interview, Gunner Malone thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
