Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Tobin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg The Phenom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Tobin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Tobin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg The Phenom!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Greg The Phenom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tobin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Tobin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because The Phenom is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The Phenom tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The Phenom has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tobin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Phenom but The Phenom pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tobin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tobin has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, The Phenom escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by The Phenom!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well The Phenom has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
