Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dillon Beasley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Joe! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beasley gets caught napping as Joe dives in and scores a takedown. Beasley manages to retain guard. Beasley really is a fat lump. Joe wants to control from the top but Beasley keeps moving. Beasley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Beasley keeping moving, preventing Joe from controlling successfully. Joe stops Beasley from standing up. Joe throwing strikes from guard but Beasley blocks nicely. Beasley looking for a guillotine here but Joe defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe stands up and waves to Beasley to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe has closed the distance and engaged Beasley in a clinch.
Joe pulls guard effortlessly. Beasley wanted to stand there but Joe had control of the position. Beasley won't allow Joe to sweep him here. Beasley wants to stand but Joe has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Beasley is fighting to break Joe's control of his arms but Joe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Joe wants to get back to his feet but Beasley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe is trying to control the position but Beasley postures up. Joe is working an open guard so Beasley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Joe gets a takedown into half guard. Beasley wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Joe has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beasley is proving hard to escape from. Joe passes Beasley's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Beasley is looking to control Joe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beasley avoid being mounted? Beasley works his way to full guard. Good work. Joe trying to control but Beasley is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beasley wants to sweep here but Joe controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Joe stands and throws Beasley's legs to the side, diving into side control. Beasley is looking to reverse the position. Beasley prevents Joe from improving position. Beasley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Beasley is trying to work for a sweep but Joe has mounted him! Beasley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Joe prevents Beasley from getting the reversal. Beasley is squirming around, avoiding Joe's attempts to control the action. Beasley slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Joe dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Joe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Joe slips nicely into half guard. Joe working the head and body with strikes. Joe wants to stand up but Beasley is controlling the position.

Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Joe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Joe lands a shoulder strike. Joe dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Joe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Beasley regains guard immediately. Joe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beasley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Joe sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bob Joe has got the better of the ground game so far. Beasley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Joe stands up over Beasley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Beasley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Beasley controls Joe momentarily but Joe frees himself. Joe trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Beasley manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beasley distracts Joe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Joe trying to keep a closed guard but Beasley is proving a slippery customer.
Beasley working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Joe is on top in guard.
Joe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Beasley has an active guard here but Joe has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beasley missing with punches from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beasley is in trouble now - Joe has advanced to mount! Beasley is in a horrible position here. Joe smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Joe tries to control but Beasley wriggling away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Beasley tries to improve his position but instead Joe has taken his back! Joe is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Beasley knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Beasley for a finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Beasley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Beasley is looking to stand up but Joe isn't so interested in that idea. Joe lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Joe wants to control from the top but Beasley keeps moving. Beasley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Joe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beasley sprawls well initially but Joe persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Beasley looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe trying to mount his opponent but Beasley defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Joe connects with a nice short shot to Beasley's temple. Joe controlling the action here. Joe tries to pass to full mount but Beasley defends it. Joe stands up from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe clinches with his opponent.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Joe jumps into guard, dragging Beasley to the mat.
Joe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beasley is one step ahead there. Beasley tries to stand but Joe is controlling from the bottom. Beasley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beasley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Joe's guard. Joe controlling Beasley's posture. Beasley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Joe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Joe pulls Beasley in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Joe gets a takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Joe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Joe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
