Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between TW WO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Griffin cracks WO with a right hand to the side of the head.
Griffin throws a head kick that misses.
WO shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Griffin sprawls well. Griffin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. WO gets slowly back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
WO shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Griffin as he avoids it easily.
Chris Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
WO moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Griffin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Griffin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from WO.

WO takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

WO shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Griffin is trying to defend but WO finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

WO is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Griffin defends it well.

WO closes the distance and clinches up with Griffin, looking for a takedown. WO pushes Griffin against the ropes but Griffin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chris Griffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Griffin throws a series of punches but WO moves out of range.
WO takes one on the button.
WO tries to score a power double leg takedown but Griffin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten WO somewhat.

WO closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Griffin's guard.
WO prevents Griffin from getting back to his feet.

WO drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and WO jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Griffin wants to stand up but WO is controlling him.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
WO shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Griffin sprawls well. Griffin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. WO gets slowly back to his feet.
Griffin lands a jab-cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
WO takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Griffin connects with a crisp jab.
Griffin is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! WO had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

WO is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Griffin's half guard.

Griffin makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

WO misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Griffin throws a combination. WO tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Griffin scores with a nice right hand.
Oh WO is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin lands a brutal head kick. WO looks out on his feet and Griffin throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Chris Griffin!
A less than humble Chris Griffin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
