Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dos Anjos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Dos Anjos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Harris! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Anjos darts in and clinches Harris up against the cage. Harris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dos Anjos pulls him back up using the underhooks. Harris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dos Anjos after a bit of a struggle. Harris is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dos Anjos is defending well. Junior Dos Anjos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Harris. Harris letting Dos Anjos take a breather here. Dos Anjos manages to break the clinch.
Dos Anjos cracks Harris with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dos Anjos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Harris tries to bum rush Dos Anjos with a series of wild strikes but Dos Anjos uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dos Anjos dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Harris throws a half hearted mid kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dos Anjos closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dos Anjos circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Dos Anjos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dos Anjos stops a takedown attempt from Harris.

That's one minute gone in the round. Harris tries to clinch and Dos Anjos counters with a left to the body. Harris misses with a takedown attempt and Dos Anjos counters with a nice body shot. Harris looks winded! Harris takes a shot to the body in his stride.

It looks like Frank Harris has been cut. Dos Anjos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Harris looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dos Anjos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dos Anjos catches Harris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Dos Anjos is looking to wear down Harris with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Harris blocks a low kick nicely. Dos Anjos gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Harris being controlled against the cage. Dos Anjos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dos Anjos counters with a nice body shot. Dos Anjos forces Harris back against the cage and clinches. Harris fails to pull guard.

Dos Anjos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harris has time to react. Junior Dos Anjos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dos Anjos moves into the clinch successfully.
Dos Anjos has Harris pushed against the cage. Dos Anjos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dos Anjos scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Harris gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dos Anjos counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Harris thinking. Dos Anjos lunges at Harris with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Harris's hand.
That has opened up Frank Harris's cut even more. Dos Anjos lands a jab to Harris's midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Dos Anjos. Dos Anjos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dos Anjos connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Dos Anjos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harris, pushing him back against the cage. Dos Anjos stalling.
Dos Anjos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dos Anjos scores with a hook to the body. Harris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Dos Anjos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Donk. Dos Anjos catches Harris right on the button with a cross. Dos Anjos lands a slapping body shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dos Anjos's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dos Anjos duly obliges. Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dos Anjos. Dos Anjos scores with a nice strike.
The cut above Frank Harris's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Dos Anjos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Harris is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris tries to clinch but Dos Anjos moves out of range. Dos Anjos turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Dos Anjos clinches up with Harris and pushes him back against the cage. Dos Anjos stalling in the clinch.
Harris fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dos Anjos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dos Anjos. Dos Anjos is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Harris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dos Anjos pinned against the cage. Dos Anjos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dos Anjos seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dos Anjos lands a slapping body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dos Anjos lands with a shot to the body.

Dos Anjos throws a quick inside leg kick. Dos Anjos jabs at Harris's body. Dos Anjos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dos Anjos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harris is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Dos Anjos stalks Harris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harris's face. Harris staggers backwards, shaken.
Frank Harris's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Dos Anjos lands a right hook to the body.
Dos Anjos cracks the inside of Harris's front leg. Dos Anjos scores with a hook to the body. Harris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Left hook, right uppercut from Dos Anjos.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Harris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Junior Dos Anjos!
