0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Torrin Mylaster! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mylaster fails with a takedown attempt. Leblanc went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mylaster clinches up against the cage. Mylaster stalling the fight.

Mylaster pulls guard effortlessly. Mylaster keeping moving, preventing Leblanc from controlling successfully. Leblanc missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mylaster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Leblanc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Leblanc has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mylaster is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mylaster closes the distance and clinches up with Leblanc, looking for a takedown. Mylaster pushes Leblanc against the cage but Leblanc circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Leblanc just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mylaster misses with a leg kick and Leblanc counters with a two punch combo. Leblanc drives through with a takedown into guard. Leblanc controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Leblanc could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mylaster is pulling down on Leblanc's head. It's preventing any offense from Leblanc, at least for the moment. Mylaster looking for a guillotine here but Leblanc defends easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Leblanc defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mylaster. Leblanc seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Mylaster has his takedown stuffed and Leblanc counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mylaster thinking. Mylaster looks winded! Mylaster shoots in looking for a takedown but Leblanc manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mylaster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Leblanc misses with a wild combination.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A jab from Leblanc finds it's way through Mylaster's defenses. Mylaster dives in for a single leg takedown but Leblanc sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudolf Leblanc dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mylaster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Leblanc tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mylaster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leblanc somewhat. A head kick misses from Mylaster. As Mylaster looks to move away, Leblanc throws a big counter combo bu Mylaster just gets out of the way. Leblanc trying to control the position from guard on top but Mylaster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Leblanc's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Leblanc stands up over Mylaster, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Leblanc engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Leblanc has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mylaster is trying to control the position but Leblanc postures up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Leblanc slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mylaster is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leblanc sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mylaster doesn't succeed with the takedown and Leblanc counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Leblanc dives in and grabs Mylaster's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mylaster pushes down on Leblanc's head and hops out. Leblanc instigates a clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Leblanc misses with a short punch on the inside. Leblanc tries to pull guard but Mylaster holds him up against the cage and eventually Leblanc drops back down to his feet.
Torrin Mylaster seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Mylaster tries for a takedown. No joy.
