Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Cade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Cade has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Cade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 3, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy White! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cade throws a leg kick which misses White's front leg but catches the back leg as White tries to avoid it. Cade ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. White misses with a head kick.
White misses with a head kick.
White misses with a low kick.
Cade throws a lazy right hand but White sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cade uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from White. Cade has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal's Finest in the buildup to the fight. Cade shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cade throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White throws a head kick that misses. White throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
White fails to land with a series of punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Cade misses the target. White throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round. White throws a leg kick and Cade counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cade takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
White looks to throw the jab but Cade is out of range. White misses with a body kick. White throws a shot from downtown. Cade moves away and avoids it. Freddy White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cade throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cade.
White swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cade attempts a counter takedown but White avoids it well and moves away. A head kick misses from White. White misses with a head kick.
Cade was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Cade on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by White. White obviously looking to wear him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cade moves out of range as White throws a body kick.
Cade misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Freddy White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. White connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cade momentarily.
White misses with an attempted mid kick.
It looked like Cade was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from White. This has been an exciting period of action! White throws a sloppy head kick and Cade moves out of range easily. White throws a head kick but Cade moves out of range.
Cade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cade has a takedown stuffed. White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cade has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by White.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White connects with a high kick. White throws a leg kick but Cade checks it. Cade will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
White is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Cade lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cade manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cade jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Cade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. White is staying active underneath Cade, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cade is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cade looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth. Cade wants to control but White is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy White dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
White stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. White has been the more effective fighter overall so far. White lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. White feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cade's calf. A head kick misses from White. White attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Cade takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cade throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around White's waist but White gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cade off to one side. As Cade backs off White throws a huge counter combo but Cade manages to avoid it all. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. White tried to score with a low kick but Cade checks it. Cade throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. White misses with an uppercut. Cade attempts a counter takedown but White avoids it well and moves away. White throws a sloppy head kick enabling Cade to counter with a crisp jab. Cade looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cade fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Cade. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cade lands with a thumping leg kick.
White scores with the left hand. Cade knows he should have avoided that one. Cade takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Cade scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cade scores with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Cade dives in for a single leg takedown but White sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. White pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cade's head. Cade swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and White counters with a flying knee. Nice. White throws a leg kick but Cade sees it coming and checks it nicely. It looked like Cade wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Cade catches White with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Cade throws a leg kick and White counters into the clinch. Nicely done. White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
White throws a quick inside leg kick. White misses with an attempted mid kick.
White throws a head kick that misses. White misses with a hook. White swings for the body but Cade moves out of range.
Cade takes one to the chin there. A good leg kick by Cade. White throws a head kick that Cade semi-blocks.
Cade's corner calls for a 1-2. Cade obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White lands a nice looking kick to the body. Cade takes a step back to recover. White throws a hook to the side of Cade's head but Cade sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cade digs a good hook to White's body.
Freddy White seems to be getting the better of the standup. This has been an exciting period of action! White misses with a head kick.
Nice shot lands for White. Cade walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. White checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. White swings and misses with a shot to the body and Cade counters with a nice uppercut. White connects with a crisp jab. Cade lands a jab to the head.
Cade tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but White was well out of range. Poor timing from Cade. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cade. White is looking to land body kicks. Cade slips a jab from White. Cade changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. White tries to avoid it but Cade manages to keep hold of a leg and drag White to the ground. White escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. White throws a half hearted mid kick. Cade moves out of range of the body kick from White.
Cade swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Cade keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from White. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cade takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
White throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cade counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cade staying out of range there. An inside leg kick from Cade misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. White showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cade.
A little jabbing left from White on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cade manages to avoid it. White tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Cade pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. White fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice jab there from White. A chopping leg kick lands by White. Freddy White is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Cade lands with a kick to the temple. White shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Nice jab there from White. White throws a head kick that misses. Cade feinted with a counter takedown. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cade throws a combination that misses enabling White to counter with a crisp jab. White thows a body kick. Cade tries to catch it but that hurt him. Cade takes a kick to the side of the head. White clinches with his opponent.
White has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White throws a sloppy head kick and Cade moves out of range easily. White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cade. Cade throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and White counters with an inside leg kick. White throws a low kick but Cade avoids it. White throws a lazy right hand but Cade sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. White dips to his left and cracks Cade with an uppercut! Cade misses with a right hand and White counters with a head kick. Cade shoots and misses and White counters with an inside leg kick. White throws a sloppy head kick and Cade moves out of range easily. Carl Cade has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Cade throws a leg kick and White finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Cade throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around White's waist but White gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cade off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Cade. That's going to take a lot out of him. White shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cade looks to land a body kick but White moved away.
