Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Fryer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barack Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Fryer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barack Obama! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Obama as Fryer shoots in. Obama connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fryer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Obama throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fryer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Obama! Fryer prevents Obama from escaping the position. Fryer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Obama on the ground. Fryer trying to control the position but Obama is working away.

Obama wants to get back to his feet but Fryer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Obama looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Obama throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fryer uses it to pass to side control.
Obama sneaks back into half guard. Obama looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fryer prevents Obama from improving his position. Fryer scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are battling for position here. Obama manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Fryer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fryer prevents Obama from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fryer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Obama is keeping the position for now. Fryer scoring with some ground and pound. Obama manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fryer manages to get himself to full guard.
Fryer wants to hit a switch here but Obama passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fryer there! Obama moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fryer has worked his arm free - good work by Fryer!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Obama tries for a kimura but Fryer is defending well. Obama is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fryer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Fryer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Obama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fryer manages to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barack Obama dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Obama has had enough of the clinch but Fryer keeps him there for the moment. Fryer is trying to pull guard but Obama turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Obama's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Obama scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fryer doesn't seem bothered though. Fryer attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Obama fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fryer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Obama sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Fryer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Obama scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Oooooh!!! Obama has knocked Fryer down with a huge combo! Obama steps away and waves a wobbly Fryer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fryer fails with the takedown and Fryer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fryer tries for a takedown but Obama circles away easily letting Obama counter with a right hand. Oh Fryer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Barack Obama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fryer gets a clinch. Fryer seems to have got his legs back now. Obama has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fryer successfully pulls guard.
Obama drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Obama jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Obama pushing down on Fryer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Fryer trying to hold on to Obama's head to control him but Obama postures up.
Obama works his foot free and advances to mount. Obama throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Fryer has his hands clasped together but Obama breaks the hold and Fryer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Obama!
