Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darell Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musa Altun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darell Cantu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Musa Altun! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Altun is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Altun fails with the takedown. Cantu explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Altun avoids the head kick by Cantu.
Altun is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cantu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Cantu. Those never looked like landing. Cantu instigates a clinch. Altun drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cantu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Darell Cantu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Musa Altun. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantu cracks Altun with a nice body shot. Cantu is trying to break free. Altun breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Altun throws a head kick that misses. A nice inside leg kick there by Altun. That's going to slow Cantu down. Cantu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Altun swats him away and circles back towards the center. Altun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cantu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Altun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Musa Altun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Altun avoids a punch combination nicely.
Altun darts in looking for a takedown but Cantu gets double underhooks and turns Altun into the cage. Cantu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Altun with a lazy takedown attempt and Cantu counters with a three punch combo that has Altun backing up. Altun nods at Cantu to acknowledge the strikes. Altun clinches up against the cage. Altun jumps guard but Cantu stands there with Altun around his waist. Altun gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Altun trying to control the position but instead, Cantu has worked for underhooks and has pushed Altun into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Altun is looking to take this one to the mat. Altun looks winded! Altun tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cantu smiles and moves away.
Cantu shoots for a double leg takedown but Altun sprawls well. He's pushed Cantu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Altun dives in and grabs Cantu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cantu pushes down on Altun's head and hops out. Cantu clinches. This has been an exciting period of action! Cantu slowing the pace effectively. Cantu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cantu doesn't manage to clinch there - Altun circles away.
Altun connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Altun rushes Cantu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantu taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Altun goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cantu prevents it.
Cantu connects with a nasty looking knee right to Altun's face.
Cantu is trying to push Altun away but Altun has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Altun tries to pull guard but Cantu forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Altun is trying to maintain a safe position but Cantu gets an underhook and turns Altun into the cage. Cantu gets control of Altun's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cantu will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Cantu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Altun gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Altun is looking to stand up but Cantu won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Altun stopping the sweep attempt from Cantu. Cantu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Altun sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cantu's guard. Cantu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Altun. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cantu looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cantu wants to improve his position but Altun is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Altun throws a head kick that misses. Nice shot by Cantu. Altun shoots in looking for a takedown. Cantu tries to sprawl out of it but Altun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cantu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An inside leg kick lands from Altun. Cantu lands a head kick. Altun smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. Altun chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cantu wants to clinch up but Altun keeps it at a distance. Altun moves into the clinch. Cantu working hard to break the clinch. Altun can't get the takedown.

Darell Cantu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Musa Altun. Altun lands with a left to the head. Altun being controlled against the cage. Altun scores with a knee to the head.
Altun pulls guard effortlessly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Altun is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cantu defends well. Altun is breathing heavily. Cantu wanted to stand there but Altun had control of the position. Cantu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Altun dives on top into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Altun passes easily into side control. Nice work. Cantu tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Altun presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Altun trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cantu prevents Altun from taking his back. Cantu is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Altun thowing shots but they're missing. Cantu sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Cantu is staying active underneath Altun, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cantu looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Cantu looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musa Altun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
A head kick misses from Cantu. Altun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cantu is looking to counter with head kicks. Altun plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Darell Cantu has been cut. Altun shoots for a takedown but Cantu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Altun misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cantu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Altun. Altun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Darell Cantu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Musa Altun. Cantu moves in looking to clinch but Altun pushes him off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Altun takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Altun tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cantu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Altun somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Altun rushes Cantu and presses him up against the cage. Altun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cantu is defended easily by Altun. Cantu tries to clinch up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Altun. Cantu tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cantu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Altun manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Altun shoots in looking for a takedown but Cantu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Altun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cantu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Altun checks it well. Altun avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice side step and Altun releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Cantu tries to clinch but Altun is having none of it. Cantu bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Cantu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Altun but Altun pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cantu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Altun fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Altun misses with a takedown attempt - Cantu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Altun fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice uppercut lands for Cantu. That snapped Altun's head back.
Cantu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cantu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Altun is looking to control Cantu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Altun avoid being mounted? Cantu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Altun tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Cantu has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Cantu is working for a guillotine from mount but Altun frees his head quite easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Darell Cantu showed his dominance in that final round. I think Cantu has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
