Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jemmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jemmy Dean has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jemmy Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean tries to clinch but Durden moves out of range.

Dean closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Durden did well to prevent Dean getting side control.
Durden is trying to control but can't.
Dean not doing much here.

Durden is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dean pulls his head out easily.
Dean tries to stand but can't do so whilst Durden controls his leg.
Durden is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Durden is looking to improve his position.
Dean is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dean wants to stand but Durden has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Dean thows a huge punch but Durden dodges it nicely.
Durden blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dean.
Dean seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Dean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Durden keeps working.
Dean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Durden trying to hold on to Dean's head to control him but Dean postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dean or perhaps it was just good defense by Durden, which made it look bad.
Durden has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dean is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Durden will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Durden as he avoids it easily.
Durden looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dean is fending him off so far but Durden persists. Nope, Dean circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Jemmy Dean has been cut.

Dean dives in and scores a takedown into Durden's guard.
Dean throwing strikes but missing.
Durden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dean wants to control from the top but Durden keeps moving.
Dean stopping the sweep attempt from Durden.
Durden keeping moving, preventing Dean from controlling successfully.
Dean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Durden wants to control the position but Dean says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Durden throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Dean is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dean thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Durden's head.
Durden is looking for a sweep. Dean is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dean drops an elbow to the side of Durden's head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dean prevents Durden from standing back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dean shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Durden counters with a crisp one two that drops Dean! Durden thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dean to his feet! Dean is in big trouble!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jemmy Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dean shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Durden but Durden pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dean is breathing heavily.

Durden rushes Dean and presses him up against the cage.
Dean tries to pull guard but Durden holds him up against the cage and eventually Dean drops back down to his feet.
Durden is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Durden is pressed up against the cage. Dean has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Durden down to the mat. Durden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Durden stuffs the takedown.
Durden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dean tries to avoid it but Durden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dean to the ground. Dean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dean tries to counter with a takedown but Durden is quick to defend against it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jemmy Dean will probably get the nod.

Dean looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Dean is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Durden is just riding it out for now. Dean eventually gives up the hold.

Dean is trying to pull guard but Durden turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Durden tries to clinch up but Dean circles away and keeps his distance.

Dean drives through and clinches with Durden against the cage.
Durden prevents Dean from breaking the clinch.
Durden gets through Dean's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dean fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Durden is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dean pulls his head out easily.

Dean working over Durden with some ground and pound. Durden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Dean is trying to control the action in half guard but Durden is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dean has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Durden is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Dean won't let Durden get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Dean is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Durden to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Durden shrugs it off.
