Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lans Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramin Laulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laulu misses with an uppercut.
Gregor seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Gregor keeps the fight on the outside.

and Gregor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gregor throws a right and a left that both miss.
Laulu wants to counter with a clinch but Gregor pushes him away.

Laulu scores with a head kick. Gregor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Gregor wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Lans Gregor will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Laulu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gregor is fending him off so far but Laulu persists. Nope, Gregor circles away and we're back to standing.

Laulu throws a low kick, looking for Gregor's leg but Gregor calmly moves out of range.
It looked like Gregor wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Laulu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gregor tries to avoid it but Laulu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gregor to the ground. Gregor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Laulu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
