Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Parantaisen Jaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khadzhimurat Gatsalov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parantaisen Jaska has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Parantaisen Jaska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Khadzhimurat Gatsalov! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatsalov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Gatsalov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jaska's half guard. Gatsalov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gatsalov is pressing down on Jaska's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jaska is holding on for now. Gatsalov escapes and gets back to his feet. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gatsalov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jaska has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jaska and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Gatsalov tries a low kick but Jaska avoids it. Jaska seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Gatsalov throws out a loose jab but Jaska uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaska attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Gatsalov throws a leg kick and Jaska cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gatsalov instigates a clinch. Gatsalov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jaska wants to get back to striking at distance but Gatsalov won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaska tries to stall but Gatsalov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gatsalov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jaska regains guard.
Gatsalov landing some decent shots from guard. Gatsalov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jaska knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatsalov on the ground. Gatsalov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jaska is keeping the position for now. Gatsalov looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Gatsalov advances position into side control! Gatsalov controls the position. Jaska looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gatsalov stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fighters circling - Gatsalov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gatsalov pushing out the jab but it's not landing. As Gatsalov looks to move away, Jaska throws a big counter combo bu Gatsalov just gets out of the way. Gatsalov throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Jaska counters with a three punch combo that has Gatsalov backing up. Gatsalov nods at Jaska to acknowledge the strikes. Jaska lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Gatsalov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gatsalov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gatsalov postures up and lands a big shot to Jaska's brow. Jaska keeping full guard, as Gatsalov tries to pass. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gatsalov looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khadzhimurat Gatsalov dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gatsalov with a poor takedown and Gatsalov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jaska changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Gatsalov throws an off balance right hand
and Jaska counters with a stiff right hand. Jaska connects with a single shot there. Gatsalov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gatsalov controlling the pace. Let's hope that Gatsalov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gatsalov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Gatsalov decides to stand and escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaska scores with the left hand. Gatsalov knows he should have avoided that one. Gatsalov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gatsalov drives through with a takedown into Jaska's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Gatsalov lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gatsalov passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jaska is being controlled here. Gatsalov working the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gatsalov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gatsalov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gatsalov staying calm. Gatsalov lands some shots froms side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gatsalov controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khadzhimurat Gatsalov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jaska's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Parantaisen Jaska is winning the standup battle so far. Gatsalov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gatsalov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gatsalov is controlling the pace.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gatsalov fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
