Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Karl Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marti Kor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Patton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marti Kor! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Patton throws a big counter combination but Kor scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Patton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kor's waist but Kor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patton off to one side. Kor looking to score a takedown here. Patton is defending well but Kor drives through and ends up in Patton's guard. Kor sitting in guard here, content to control. Kor trying to control the position from guard on top but Patton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kor passes Patton's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kor looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kor wants to stand up but Patton is controlling the position.
Kor wants to free his trapped foot but Patton is holding on for dear life with his legs. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kor wants to control but Patton is keeping him busy. Kor controlling the action here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kor enables Patton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patton preventing the sweep. Patton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kor looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kor wants to sweep here but Patton controlling him for the moment. Kor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Patton wanted to stand there but Kor had control of the position. Kor is striking off his back. Patton thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kor has a hand on Patton's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Patton takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Kor is looking to improve his position but Patton isn't that keen on the idea. Patton tries to control but Kor wriggling away. Patton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kor tries to reverse the position but Patton maintains control. Kor swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kor wants to control but Patton is having none of it. Kor wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Kor is desperately trying to improve his position but Patton has a good base and remains in mount. Kor flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Kor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Patton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kor manages to get to full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Patton controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marti Kor will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Patton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kor. Patton appears to be looking for a big counter. Patton tries to keep at a distance but Kor has taken the fight into the clinch. Kor tries for a takedown. No joy.
Patton gets underhooks to prevent Kor's takedown attempt.
Karl Patton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marti Kor. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Patton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Patton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kor's head. Patton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kor tries to kick Patton off but Patton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kor wants to get back to full guard. Patton tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kor controls his leg. Kor trying to control here.
Kor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Patton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Patton's back! I really don't envy Patton right now.
Kor lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kor is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Kor lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Patton hold on?!

Kor is not going to allow Patton to sit and survive in this position. Patton preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Kor. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kor punches Patton on the ear. Patton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kor on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kor has the hooks in. Patton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Patton is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Kor.
Kor is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Patton has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kor tries to keep control of the position but Patton is staying busy. Patton wants to get back to his feet. Patton tries to break free.
Marti Kor has got the better of the ground game so far. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kor has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Patton! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kor gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
