PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Alstot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diamond Dollar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alstot's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Break Stuff. Eddie Alstot had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Diamond Dollar!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dollar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dollar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dollar turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Alstot lands a nice hook to Dollar's body. Dollar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alstot tests Dollar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Alstot. Dollar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dollar is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dollar swings for the body but Alstot moves out of range.

Dollar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alstot is pushing down on Dollar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dollar is fighting to maintain full guard but Alstot has managed to sneak the leg through.

Alstot is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Alstot looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dollar is looking to control Alstot's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dollar avoid being mounted?
Alstot trying to mount his opponent but Dollar defends it.
Dollar is pressing down on Alstot's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Diamond Dollar has got the better of the ground game so far.

Dollar looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alstot is defending well. Dollar quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alstot has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dollar celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Diamond Dollar!
As Diamond Dollar got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I told you guys id make easy work of this piece of sh*t. My attention now turns to you, Eddie Alstot... the mouse of our division. I'm ready to sign the paperwork RIGHT NOW. Lets make it happen, boss.'.
