Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wan Batani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wan Batani has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bob Neal's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neal with a nice cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Batani looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Neal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Batani doesn't seem bothered though.
Neal misses with a series of wild punches.
Neal cracks Batani with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Neal ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Neal could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Neal throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Batani.
Batani tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Neal defends well and Batani ends up having to push Neal into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Neal lands a really nice looking cross but Batani seems unphased.
Batani goes for a double leg but Neal avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Neal continues to drive forward.
We've been told by Neal's head coaches at Cylon Training Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Neal counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bob Neal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wan Batani.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Neal jabs Batani to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Neal lands with a big right hook that stumbles Batani - he's out on his feet here! Neal follows up with another monster hook that separates Batani from consciousness! Batani falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Neal stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
